Typical visits
Initial visit (1 hour):
Second visit (1 hour)
Subsequent visits (1/2 - 1 hour)
- Upon entering the waiting room you will be given a few intake sheets to fill out
- I will then introduce myself and accompany you to my treatment room.
- For the next hour I will complete a thorough health history intake
- If there is any immediate treatment I can help you with I will proceed to do so
- I will then send you home with some homework (i.e. Nutrition log, Review of systems, etc...)
- The next visit will be in approximately 1-3 weeks.
- After the first two visits I spend anywhere from 1-5 hours on your case researching and formulating whatever customized treatment plans are necessary.
Second visit (1 hour)
- I'll collect your homework (week-long nutrition log and review of systems).
- I'll teach you about proper meal-timing and nutrition. while reviewing your nutrition log.
- I'll review any blood work that has been collected, teaching you what it means and writing a requisition for more blood work if necessary.
- We will then gather whatever necessary information still needs to be covered.
- At this point we will discuss which therapies may help and we should have a good idea of how often your visits will be.
- In general, if you are just visiting for general health and prevention subsequent visits should range from 3-6 months apart.
- If you have an active issue, the frequency of visits depends on each individual and each issue (some condition will need to be followed up on a weekly basis and some will require a monthly follow-up.
- General physical exam will take place throughout the 2nd and 3rd visit.
Subsequent visits (1/2 - 1 hour)
- Future visits are highly variable based on each individual case.
- If we are doing lifestyle counseling we will talk one-on-one
- During this time I will take the time to teach you about your condition(s)/situation and answer any questions you may have.
- I will write down any suggestions I have for you (i.e. supplements, exercises, journaling, etc...)
